What we like about Motorquote Direct is, and this is beacause we are simple people, they search around a bunch of insurers and present you with the top three most competitive quotes. Now that's a lot easier than getting loads which some of the other insurance comparison sites do, horses for courses I guess.

Compare Car Insurance
Compare the Market are a newish player on the block and offer a range of insurance policies from home insurance and van insurance to car, pet travel and life insurance.
They have a pretty good panel of insurers to choose from with over 300 prices on offer. Thats a pretty good choice!
We also like their TV ads as they as not as annoying as others - you knwo who you are!

Direct Line - It really is a good deal better!
Why do we say that? Well, Direct Line are one of the few remaining insurers that are not represented on the other insurance comparison sites. You have probably seen their ads saying how they do not take part and how they are independant. So in order to get a true comparison of your insurance quotes we recommend going to Direct Line and see what they have to say. To be fair they usuallly have some good discounts such as 10% off their car insurance if you buy online and 20% if you buy their home insurance online. Travel is 10% off just now so if you are about to go skiing or escape to the sun then check them out!

Strewth! Womens Car insurance - Shelias' Wheels
I don't know why, but we have always had a soft spot for Shelias' Wheels. Probably the adverts referencing The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert. And a lot of the use of pink, a colour not normally associated with anything financial.
As I am sure you all know they specialise in Womens Car Insurance, but they also do home insurance as well. If you are a new customer you will get a discount and they have nice touches like £3OO handbag cover a female friendly repairers. Also, their No Claims Discount can rise to 75% - now that is pretty darn amazing.

The Mother of Price Comparison Sites
The original, and probably the biggets and most well known of comparison sites Moneysupermarket compares all manner of prices in things financial. We like the fact that their car comparison section features over 50 differant insurers. That is pretty good and most of them are names you will have heard of. The site also faetures and ask the expert area as well as a forum and keep an eye on their tips to get really cheap car insurance.
There is alos lots of choice on other polices such as home and landlord so you may want to give this site a go.

Confused have been offering price comparison on insurance for about 3,000 years. OK, so maybe not that long but they have been around for a while and as such have a slick offering to try and compare the cheapest prices for you. They started off with just car insurance but now have a range of insurance polices such as home, motobike and travel. And lots more.
